Woah! Seriously? Joan Jett made Kristen Stewart cry?!? Apparently so, read this article from SFGate:'Rocker Joan Jett apologized to Kristen Stewart after reportedly reducing her to tears during a heated confrontation on the set of the upcoming biopic The Runaways.
But the actress allegedly broke down crying after Jett gave her a "hard time" during filming in a bid to improve her performance, prompting the rocker to apologize.
A source tells the New York Daily News, "Joan just wants Kristen to play an authentic version of herself, so she needled her a little bit too much. But she apologized when she realized how upset Kristen got."
In April, the Twilight actress admitted she was feeling the pressure that comes with playing a real person onscreen: "It's one of the most immense responsibilities to play a real person. Her story's important. It's an incredibly triumphant feminist story really." '

Yeah, but to make her cry. I think it'd be more stressful to have a live person to portray and to have them there watching over filming and picking at how you're doing or how everything is going.

ReplyDeleteKristin is an amazing actress; all of us know that. And let me reassure you, acting is not hard. I would LOVE to see some of these people that are putting her down for bad acting. It's stupid! And I would LOVE to see you audition for something and actually get it. Acting is hard, not easy. Some say acting is just being another person, that may be...but take it from Kristin's standpoint, it's not easy..not at all.

She's an artist. She's not a skanky, soap-opera-type actress. She acts like actual people do in real life. That's true talent.
So let me see you try and act in the movies she's been in, I doubt you could even come close to better.

I love both Kristen and Joan. They've become great friends, so obviously she didn't do it on purpose.
