Kristen Stewart Nominated for Bafta Rising Star Award

Our very own, Kristen Stewart, has been nominated for a Bafta Rising Star Award. (The British Academy of Film and Television Arts.) More specifically, an Orange Rising Star Award.

The source tells us:
The Orange Rising Star Award recognizes five international actors and actresses who have demonstrated exceptional talent and have begun to capture the imagination of the public as a star in the making.

Kristen Stewart has been catapulted to fame by her starring role as Bella in the Twilight Saga. She has been nominated for numerous Young Artist awards for her roles in films such as Panic Room, Cold Creek Manor and Into the Wild.

Want to ensure our favorite leading lady gets picked?

You can do so here....or you can text STEWART to **82058

Texts cost 25p plus a standard network charge. Network charges may vary.

They know just as much about her film history as we do...so I find it a little strange that she is just now receiving a rising star award.

But, all-in-all, I am very happy for her! Getting an award, (much less being nominated), is a great honor that actors, actresses, and the public, respect. Rooting for you KStew!

  1. She's okay, but really the hair style, u could have gotten a wig for that instead of cutting it. Doesn't suit her at all.

  2. I don't know, the hair cut is kind of growing on me. Plus, I'm sure they wont let the wig look bad! They, by now, know what mega-fans they are dealing with! Those were funky pictures of her in her wig. Hollywood cinematography is much better than a canon digital camera :P
