'Draco Malfoy' likes RPatz

‘Harry Potter’ and 'Twilight’ have much in common. Besides both being pop culture phenomenons. British heartthrob Robert Pattinson was part of the the magical world of Harry Potter as Hogwarts Tri-Wizard Champion, Cedric Diggory, and now the sexy lead Vampire, Edward Cullen, in the Twilight Saga.

Although rivalry does exist between these magical stories and worlds, no one can deny the loyalty and popularity of both in film and in books. Harry Potter and Twilight have swept a-many MTV Movie Awards in the last couple of years.

What is clear though, is that Rob has been able to maintain loyalties to both teams: Team Twilight and Team Harry Potter. In fact, British actor Tom Felton more commonly known as evil "Draco Malfoy" in the Harry Potter movies, has revealed his admiration and support for Team Twilight, more specifically Rob Pattinson.

Tom was the winner of "Best Villain" at last week's MTV Movie Awards. And he had a few fond words to say of his one-time co-star in Harry Potter: The Goblet of Fire.

“Really, I hadn't seen him in some time. And then we ran into each other at the 'Remember Me' premier and I was surprised he remembered who I was!" joked Tom. It was the first time the two Brits saw each other again since Rob became one of the most famous actors in the world. Tom assured though, "He's still very much a real nice and really great lad."

“Really," Tom went on to share. "He's not very affected by all this fame. He's one of a kind and he gives hope to all of us for life after 'Harry Potter'. I'm very proud of him."

Tom assured everyone that he was a fan of Rob's work. Although he didn't hide his preference for which he preferred in a wizards vs. vampires scenario. "It's not really a question," Tom grinned, when they asked who would win a battle between 'Edward' and 'Draco'. "A magic wand acts on its own. You just swish and flick--and although I don't want to give a definitive answer. I'll say a wand comes in real handy in any battle."
