Who doesn't enjoy looking at photos of the cutest on and off screen couple ever?! Harper's Bazaar was the ONLY cover in 2009 that featured Rob and Kris solo. The dynamic duo were up against some pretty awesome magazine covers but managed to snag "Cover of the Year". Some say their real life romance helped in their push to win...I just say they are both extremely beautiful people that I could look at all day, especially together :)
The American Society of Magazine Editors released a press release on the results.
“The cover of the December 2009 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, featuring the lead actors of the hit movie franchise Twilight, was chosen by Amazon.com customers as “Cover of the Year.” This is the second year that Amazon.com has hosted the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) Best Cover Contest, and the fifth year that ASME has presented the awards. The announcement was made today by Larry Hackett, ASME President and Managing Editor, People, at the American Magazine Conference currently underway in Chicago, Illinois.
Twelve category winners, chosen by Amazon.com customers during the first round of public voting, competed for the “Cover of the Year” honor. The Harper’s Bazaar cover, which won the “Best Vampire” category before it was chosen “Cover of the Year,” depicts Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in a rare shot together. While the epic image played on the idea of courtship, it was given extra heat due to their real-life romance.”
This photo shoot was absolutely amazing. There was so much romance, love, sexiness and passion between the two. You could see it in their eyes. I remember thinking when these photos were released, there is no way to deny the chemistry between these two. So way to go Twi-Hards! Our votes took them to the top! We once again we prove to be the most incredible fans EVER!
