Say what?! The fandom was crumbling to the ground in a matter of minutes. Folks who claim to be true Kristen fans turned on her like a rabid dog, automatically wishing death upon her among other things. Then there were a huge number of folks who called BS as soon as Us Weekly Magazine reported the story. #WeHateUSWeekly trended on Twitter for a solid four or five hours, along with #RobstenIsUnbroken.This story has ripped a close knit fandom apart, forcing people to chose a side, but this time instead of vampire and werewolf, its either love Kristen or hate her. People magazine has just posted that Kristen has released an official tear jerking apology, but the fans are still skeptical....
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry,"
So question is...will the fandom that has been built over the last 4 or 5 years be destroyed because of this? If this is true will Kristen and Rob make it? Should Rob forgive her if she cheated? Leave your comments below.

SWATH director, Rupert Sanders, has also released a statement regarding the Us Weekly cover story.
"I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family," Sanders tells PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. "My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."As fans, it is our duty to support Kristen even when she makes bad decisions. Just because she is famous does not mean she is perfect. She is a 22 year old woman who is bound to make a few mistakes in her life. I recall how I was at 22 and well I give her kudos for taking everything in stride the ways she has. She could have fell into the Hollywood cliche thousands of times. I don't however believe this should be a direct reflection of her character.
We will keep you guys updated. Hopefully we will hear something from Rob's team to see what all of this means for our favorite on and off screen couple.

ReplyDeleteSee, I'm just not sure I'm buying it. That's supposed to be quote from her but after 4 years of no comment on her & Rob now she's making a public statement? I think it might be made up.
ReplyDeleteEven if it's true, they are both so young. You have to live and learn, that includes making mistakes and moving on.
I think this whole story is odd - especially Kristen's "public statement". Maybe I'm dwelling too much into it, but for the past three or four years, Kristen, nor Rob, have ever explicitly came out as a couple. So when she says "...has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," it just seems too weird to sound like Kristen. But - to finish my unwanted rant - if it's fake, everyone involved with this "scandal" should sue the people behind US Weekly. If it's true, Kristen and the director should face the consequences like the grown adults they are.
ReplyDeleteBut nonetheless - I'm still gonna see BD2. The magazine was written about Kristen and Rob - not Bella and Edward. So, why are the characters being jeopardized? And I spent about four years waiting for this finale! You think I'm not gonna watch Bella's first hunt? Please.

ReplyDeleteThis is all Bullcrap!! I can understand how the couples don't want to add fuel to this fake fire but i believe that they should do something to clear their names. Tabloids are not interested in getting the fact straight all they want is to sell newspapers. This world is turning into a desperate place where anything you saymor do is been questioned. I have to agree and say that life was better when it was simpler. If the Paps gave 1/10 of their energy to a good cause instead of trying to destroy or humiliate people the world would be a better place. If people cared about the things that really matters and not linger on this the world would be a better place. If the News that we watch everyday had a 1/3 of passion and length to it as this drama the world would actually think you for it in the long run. We complain about kids nowadays but don't fully realize that we make them what they are. Human nature is to make mistakes. We regret and move on but these people are trying to make some people life a living hell out there. I wanted to go in the music/ acting industry and i would have made it, a lot of people feel the same but once you get there you don't have a life. People will hate and make living a constant struggle for you and for that i am staying as far away as i can and it's a shame. In timeslike that family is more important than anything because even if the truth comes out to be false and the truth will come out one day whether we want it or not, people will come back clinging to Kristen and pretend to be on her side but through hurdles you know who your true friends are and even then one should be careful because sometimes the traitor aould possibly be in the midst. I see kids commiting suicide for less and who do these people think they are to bash someone PRIVATE LiFE like that. the whole concept of Private is lost because of technology we say but i say it's the human without the thinking ability that makes the internet disgusting at times and this vicious world will never stop to be this way. you just have to protect yourself and be careful. If Kristen chooses to keep her REAL STATEMENT TO herself and family member and parties involved then it doesn't mean she is guilty it shows character and if she did come out and admit it i would say shows she has more character that any of these fake people out there. ReplyDeleteSo she made a mistake. She isn't the first to do so and she will not be the last. In the Bible, John 8:7 Jesus says "Let those that have never sinned, cast the first stones". The media, twitter verse, bloggers etc. can stone her but who is going to stone them. We do dirt all day long and twice as much at night, safely behind the cloak of anonymity. Does that make us more innocent than she and the director. We can argue that they should have known better but, as we all know, temptation is a force that we all have succumbed to more than once. If Robert can forgive Kristen; we should follow suit, quickly. Hopefully she will learn from this and become a better person. That is the purpose of mistakes in the first place. It is better that she get this over with while she is young. Some people never learn from their errors. Let's pray that she, the Director, Rob and the Director's wiife hatch this out. My sincere hope is that Robert forgives her and gives her a chance to prove that she truly loves and adores him.
ReplyDeletei honestly don't think that all this is true. its funny how as soon as they came out in public holding hands, now all of a sudden she cheated. its just weird to me really. i don't think Kristen would ever do that to Robert. and now there saying that Robert is moving out of their house? if so, where are the pictures to prove it?! there's none! so i believe none of this is true.
