Yes, it is true. Robert Pattinson did propose to his Twilight

co-star Kristen Stewart.

Kristen, who is 19, and is dating TV star Michael Angarano said that Pattinson was so "into" his character as Edward Cullen during filming that believed and convinced himself he was in love with Kristen.

"Rob is very mysterious and very intense - and totally crazy. He proposed to me one day!" Kristen recalled. Pattinson stated: "I can't believe I did that! That's really getting into character. It's pretty extreme." (well, duh, Rob. Proposing to a girl is serious business!)

Meanwhile most teenage girls would literally kill Kristen to be in her shoes and Kristen still swears that nothing is "going on" between her and Rob:"I'm sure he's proposed to loads of girls before. He's a complete jokester!"
