So one of our forum members, busyleigh, recently went to BooksAMillion to purchase Eclipse and heard something really startling:"To purchase my copy of Eclipse in hardback (I've read them all and been buying them...borrowed them to read), the cashier asked me if I'd be glad when the new Twilight book came out??? I was so flabbergasted that I couldn't think straight....what did he mean?? Does he know something that I don't? Why didn't I ask him what he was talking about? (that's easy, there was a LONG line!!)"
So what's going on? Did the cashier know what they were talking about? Thoughts?

ReplyDeleteThey were referring to the new NM that's coming out in a few months, its the movie edition with Jacob, Bella and Edward on the front. I highly doubt SM decided to all of a sudden put out any more Twilight new books, why would she? shes making tons of money changing the covers.

ReplyDeleteAccording to stepheniemeyer.com, she is releasing Midnight Sun but there was no date set. Maybe he did know something about it coming out sooner than we think. Hopefully hes not talking about new moon or anything else. i cant wait to read the finished copy of midnight sun. the leaked copy on Stephenies page was amazing.

I know she is releasing a copy eventually with no date set. so maybe he did know something. unless he was just an idiot and thought the new-new moon book is different from the original. but i think "clara cullen" is right its probably just the official guide coming out.. ugh

ReplyDeletemaybe he just wasn't that knowledgeable about the Twilight series - I've had that happen to me before. I really don't think he was talking about Midnight Sun, because it's not even finished yet, and Stephenie Meyer even talks about it on her website and says, she's not sure when or if she'll get to finish it. It would be pretty awesome if she does though :)

I think if stephanie should write another book which she would be really smart to milk this cash cow for as long as she can she should write about Jacob and Reneseme have her all grown up and powerful and have her falling in love with Jacob but not sure Jacob loves her for her or if he loves her because he has to because of the imprinting thing and maybe she feels he loves her because he loved her mother at one time. then have her kick some major vampire butt. Thats what I would do anyway and of course have Edward beat Jacob up a little and knock his smart butt around a

ReplyDeleteShe is coming out with a new book! I heard this rumor too and went to her website and she wrote how she started writing the book and then some of it got on the internet. She didn't want her fans going out and looking for it so she posted her unfinished copy on her site!! I didn't read it! I am going to wait untill its done and revised to read it!! I can't wait!

ReplyDeleteMidnight Sun has been on hold for more than a year after it was 'leaked' on the internet. However, I did have a Borders employee tell me a few months ago that the "rumor" in the publishing world is that Midnight Sun IS going to be published. So, we'll see.....
