Christopher Heyerdahl Excited for New Moon

Christopher Heyerdahl who will appear as Marcus in New Moon was recently interview by People Magazine:

'Actor Christopher Heyerdahl has these reassuring words for Twis: "Everyone looks gorgeous and deliciously lifeless."

Heyerdahl stars in the new film as Marcus, leader of centuries-old vampire clan the Volturi. He tells SciFiWire that he sees a bit of his character, who once lost his own true love, in main couple Bella and Edward.

"[He's] pretty darn excited by this love that he witnesses, [but] it causes him great pain with the memory of what he had and lost."

Heyerdahl says the role of Marcus "was very complex to play, especially when you are doing it with so few lines." But he's not complaining: "He's one of the oldest vampires on the planet, and who doesn't want to play a 3,000-year-old vampire?"

Most thrilling, though, is having the opportunity to be a part of the Twilight phenomenon. "To be a part of something that has been compared to Beatlemania, which comes close to a good way of describing it, it's pretty incredible," he says.'
