Robert Pattinson in OK! Magazine

Robert Pattinson in OK! Magazine

First of all, let me apologize for yesterday's post. Billy Burke's birthday is November 25th, not October 25th. So in another month, we will celebrate again!

In other news, Robert Pattinson calls fame a "monster" in OK! Magazine. "It's kind of like a monster thing. The more people think they know you. The more you're identified with a certain thing. I can't do anything in America, I just don't want to have any stories written about me." I personally think that this is heartbreaking. When you're famous, people are more likely to judge you and expect everything you do to be great. It is a lot of pressure and he also feels scared to be lucky in love for the same reason. "Yeah. I'm more self-conscious. You can't afford to fail, but you're kind of afraid of succeeding too."

  1. Awwww. I feel so sorry for him. He is right. Famous people can't be seen in public without some crazy story written about them. Kristen Stewart said in an interview that fame is like being 'raped'. I totally feel sorry for them.

  3. I feel sorry for him but then again, would he rather be an unknown actor all his life? or would he rather be in his current position right now? I think those are the questions he should be asking himself don't you think? If he wants to be famous then this is the cost of being famous. If he rather have a quiet life then by all means go back to London and be with your family. Have a quiet and contended life away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi and fans.
