A Real "Twilight" Love Story

I saw this in the paper today and I just had  to share it:
Sabrina Parker, 16, was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease shortly before her 16th birthday. She was a huge Twilight fan. So, on her birthday, friends and family hung up lights and decorated the walls with cast posters. They gave her an enormous cake, which was iced to look like the cover of Breaking Dawn. Her boyfriend, Matt, gave her a replica of Bella's ring.
She told  Matt about her disease and that she was dying. Both her mother and grandmother died from the disease. He insisted that he would never leave her and would always be there for her whenever she needed him.
She had many treatments at Duke. They had a "friendship ceremony" where they exchanged rings and said how much they loved each other. Sabrina's health deteriorated  quickly on Thanksgiving Day and she passed away in her sleep on the 29th of November.
Matt has met with the head of the Raleigh ALS Association Chapter and hopes to establish a fund in Sabrina's memory.
I thought this was what true love is all about, just like Edward would never leave his Bella, Matt would never leave his Sabrina.
